Nancy L. Royer, 78, passed away at Bath Creek Estates on April 25, 2021. She was a housewife and later on worked as an Avon Lady. She also worked for many years at First National Bank of Ohio and retired from First Merit Bank. Her favorite hobby was knitting. She would knit items for anybody who would ask and held knitting classes at Stitch, Piece and Purl for many years. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Frank A. Royer; parents, Betty Lou and Weinyard P. Staats and brother, Wayne Staats. She is survived by her son, Frank W. Royer; daughter, Cynthia J. (Rich) Larsen; grandson, Mathew Oaks; brother, John Staats, and sister, Della Rowlands. A special thank you to Bath Creek Estates and Hospice Care for taking great care of her the last few months of her life and making her comfortable. Friends may call 1 hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral on April 30, 2021 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Pastor John Demund will be officiating. Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Northampton Bible Church.
