Barbara was born April 25, 1930 in Bartlesville, Ok to Charley Lindsey and Lola (Armanda) McFarland. She attended Florida Christian College, Oklahoma Christian College and Harding College where she met her husband Robert Windle Kee. The couple married June 6, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Eastside Church of Christ.
The couple began planting churches in the Northeast United States, including Levittown, PA, Salisbury, MD, and Collinsville, IL. They then spent 25 years as missionaries in Cameroon, West Africa. They later worked in Belize, Central America. The couple also lived in Onalaska, Texas until they retired to Wichita Falls, Texas.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Lee Myers.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 67 years, Windle; her two sons Carl Kee and wife Pat of Lubbock, Texas, and Windle Paul Kee and wife Janet of Cameroon, West Africa; her daughter Alicejoy Taylor and Joe of Wichita Falls; a brother Bud McFarland and Sarah, of Edmond, Oklahoma; five grandchildren Dwight Kee, Malena Brown, David Taylor, Ryan Kee, and Nathan Taylor; six great-grandchildren, Jordan Kee, Alaina Kee, Declan Taylor, Tyler Kee, Isaac Taylor, Joel Taylor; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews; and a large Spiritual Family around the world.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara's name may be made to the Cameroon Mission Fund through the Faith Village Church of Christ, 4100 McNiel Ave, Wichita Falls, TX 76308.
