DILLSBURG David L. Miller, 92, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at Elmcroft of Dillsburg. David was the widower of Mabel (Zinn) Miller. He was born September 26, 1915, in Fairview Township, York County, the son of the late Lester and Joanna (Heck) Miller. He was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, having worked for PennDot, and did custom farming for many years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. David attended Hope Grace Brethren Church, Dillsburg, and was a member of the Dillsburg American Legion, Post 26. David also enjoyed attending the blue grass sessions at Franklintown Fire Co. He is survived by three daughters, Joyce I. Stone of Wellsville, Nancy J. Frye of New Cumberland, and Debbie L. Miller of Dover; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday, November 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. in his church, 110 Old York Road, Dillsburg. Burial with military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Lewisberry. A viewing will be held Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
