Phillip Ray White was born March 28th, 1941 in Indianapolis to the late Keith and Barbara (Phenager) White. Phil passed on April 26th, 2021 at the age of 80 at Indiana University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Phil graduated from Wilkinson High School in 1959. He was a Cub and Boy Scout and a 55 year member of the Shirley Masonic Lodge, Connersville and Murat Shriners.

He was the ultimate entrepreneur having only worked for himself and his family his whole life. He started in high school with a trench digger working on farms and drove a fuel tanker truck for White Petroleum Co.

He moved to Yorktown in 1963 to manage a White Flash Service Station in downtown Yorktown. He was a manager of 3 bulk plants, 2 truck stops and a truck service garage. He was also involved in Holiday Magic Cosmetics in the early 70's and a carpet store in Yorktown. He owned a used car lot and plant store in Daleville and sold trucks in Tampa, Florida. He also owned a Dairy Queen (Florida Phil) in Chesterfield for several years and also as VP of White Petroleum later GasAmerica Services and White Family Farms.

Phil wintered in Crystal Beach and later moved to Englewood, Florida. He and Beverly attended Bradford Park Christian Church In Yorktown.

Phil was a pioneer in organ transplants having received one of the first successful small bowel transplants and two subsequent kidney transplants for Indiana University Hospital. Phil was an avid motorcycle rider crossing the country many times with his cycle buddies.

He lived his adult life in the Yorktown/Muncie area with many friends who will sadly miss him, including his loving family and his beloved dogs, Addy and Henry.

Phil is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly (Bricker) White of Yorktown; sons, Bradley White of Yorktown, Brian (Lisa) White of Waynesville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jesse White, Maria White, Anna White; great grandson, Preston White; brother, Danny (Judy) White of Shirley; sister in-laws, Judy Dent of Greensburg and Robin (Rick) Montani of Greenfield; brother in-laws, Jeffory (Blaise) Bricker of Houston, Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard White; sister in-laws Judy White and Debbie Bricker and brother in-law Gregory Bricker.

Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 130 S. Main St., Wilkinson, IN 46186 with Pastor and longtime friend, Fran Bullock and Pastor and long- time family friend, Allen Collier officiating.
