George Wayne Little, age 76, of Brownsboro, passed away to his heavenly home on April 27, 2021. He was born on October 8, 1944, in Athens, Texas to Ernest Jackson Little and Addie Jewel (Drew) Little.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest Glenn Little, Johnny Little and Bobby Little; sisters, Addie Jo Curry; brother-in-law, Don Curry; grandson, Chance Willingham.
George graduated from Athens High School in 1963. He was a carpenter by trade. He owned his own construction business for many years. After retirement, he worked at Brownsboro ISD as a custodian. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brownsboro. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with his whole heart. They were his pride and joy.
Survivors include the love of his life, that he was married to for 54 years, Carol Little; his daughters, Tracy Curtis, Farrah Anderson and husband Wes; grandchildren, Justin Little and wife Sage, Natalie Curtis, Heather Gonzales and husband Alan, Shane Curtis, Kirsti Harris, Danielle Harris, Madison Anderson; great grandchildren, Jude Little and Kaysen Teel; brother, Coy Little; along with several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Randal McGee, Wes Anderson, Joe Don Curry, Brent Little, Ignacio Solis and Billy Keith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at LaRue Cemetery.
