Bruce L. Mills, 74, passed away peacefully Monday, April 26, 2021 at his home.

Bruce was born on January 25, 1947 in Warsaw, NY to Jeanette (Wheeler) and Allen F. Mills. He lived his life quietly and privately, but enjoyed all of Mother Nature, hunting around his property and feeling the wind in his face while cruising down the road on his Harley Davidson. Bruce was also fond of Cowboy Action Shooting and participating in events at the Kayaderosseras Fish and Game Club and with friends in the Circle K Regulators. A kid at heart, Bruce also loved vacationing to Disney on many occasions, though nothing filled his heart with more joy than every moment he spent loving and caring for Johanna, his wife, best friend and soulmate for almost 50 years.

Besides his beautiful wife Johanna, Bruce was predeceased by his parents; his brother: Daryl Mills and his niece: Kimberly Campbell.

Cherishing Bruce's life and memory are his sisters: Karen (Patrick) Mills-Courts of Fredonia, Sandra (Thomas) Fitzpatrick of Delmar and Kathleen Mills of Delmar; sister-in-law: Colette (Edward) McKelvey and brother-in-law: J. Richard Schultz, all of Rotterdam Junction; nieces and nephews: Ingrid Campbell, Meghan Hill, Erin Hankle, Shannon L. McKelvey, Heidi L. Audino, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Patrick Courts, Richard J. Schultz, Eric McKelvey, Kyle McKelvey; special friends: Michelle and Michael Echtner and their family, of Middleburgh.

All are invited to a graveside service at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Middleburgh Cemetery, off Cotton Hill Road. Facial protection and distancing will be respected by all attending. Coltrain Funeral Home, LLC, of Middleburgh is honored to be caring for Bruce and his family.
