Kyle Lee Barton passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home in De Kalb, Texas. He was 31. He was born March 2, 1990 in Shreveport, Louisiana to John William Barton and Gloria Jean Bailey.

He was a Client Technologies Analyst for Texas A&M Texarkana where he was a member of The Society for College Leadership and Achievement. Kyle was a member of First Baptist Church in De Kalb, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother and paternal grandparents, Murrel and Dorothy Barton.

He is survived by his wife, Allison Ward Barton of De Kalb, Texas; his father, John W. Barton of Texarkana, Texas; maternal grandparents, Robert Franklin and Cathy Latham Bailey of De Kalb, Texas; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Justin and Stephanie Bailey of Andrews, Texas and Micah Coleman of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Paige Barton and Brandon Starnes of Maud, Texas, Melynni and Ethan Johnston of Maud, Texas, and Wynter and Keith Burgess of De Kalb, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kelly and Lisa Hopkins of De Kalb, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Greg and Debbie Ward of De Kalb, Texas; three special dogs and two special cats; and numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas. Graveside service will follow at Hubbard Chapel Cemetery with Rev. James Sparks officiating.
