Luster Albert "L.A." Lindsey, 77, of Villa Ridge, MO passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born February 7, 1944, in Tulot, Arkansas, the son of George Lindsey and his wife, Mabel.

L.A. received his education from Central High School in Webster. He was united in marriage to Ruth (nee Young) on June 25, 1966, in Clayton. The couple made their home in St. Louis before moving to Villa Ridge in 1982. L.A. enjoyed a career as a machinist and retired from Roton Machines in 2006. He loved his animals, whether it be spending time outside feeding the birds and squirrels or doting on his cats and dogs. L.A. also enjoyed watching old westerns. He was a hard worker and a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, and one son, one sister, one brother, one sister-in-law, many other relatives, many friends and his dog, Rufus.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Mr. Lindsey to Franklin County Humane Society.
