Joseph Layne Andrews, 24, of Atlanta, GA passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Atlanta, GA.

Joseph was born December 1, 1996 in LaGrange, GA, son of Terra "TJ" Cobb Clay and John W. Andrews. He was a Store Manager at Starbucks and an Apprentice Photographer at Birds on a Wire with Crystal Hill. Joseph was an inclusive advocate and volunteer for several organizations and groups including American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, working to end child bullying, Woof Avenue Pet Rescue and Black Lives Matter. He could be found walking, marching and speaking out for the causes of others and organizations would reach out to him for his involvement. Joseph loved hard, looked for the beauty in life and always sought to "Find Something Purple", because to him anything purple was beautiful. In addition to his photography, Joseph enjoyed doing Podcasts, Blogs and his Webpage. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his mother, TJ and Matt Clay; deddy, John W. and Kelly Andrews; Jorge and Dodie Olma-Novea; twin brother, Julian Brittney Andrews (Donavon Foehser); siblings, Isaac Andrews, John Riley Andrews, Jenifer Olma, Hector Olma, Austin and Veronica Clay, Madison Clay, Hunter Clay, Jerred Clay, and Jordan McCray; grandparents, John and Patricia Mennella, Jo and Danny Dukes, Terry and Sally Cobb, Paul Clay, Randy and Clara Sivell; aunts and uncles, Katherine Andrews, Joseph and Heather Andrews, Britt Cobb, Lace Cobb, and Justin Dukes; cousins, Austin Hartley, Kaden Carlisle, and Carson Andrews; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the funeral home from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. The Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00pm Saturday in the Striffler-Hamby Chapel with Rev. Jim Butler and Kenneth Binion officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or Woof Avenue Pet Rescue in Auburn, AL.
