Norman Richard Arnold, 80, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021.

The youngest of seven children, Norman was born in Spring Hill, Kansas. He attended Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kansas. He later attended Butler County Junior College. He went on to start his own business. Norman loved spending time with his family, gardening, and sports. He was known as being a positive and encouraging person to others, always looking at the bright side of things.

On his final days, he was surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his wife , four children. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren; two step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Norman was preceded in passing by his grandson Jake Bugg.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. The family will greet friends prior to the graveside, beginning at 1 p.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
