In 1953, she gave birth to their first son, Steve. In 1954, the family moved to Ann Arbor, MI. In 1957, Alice gave birth to their second son, Bob. Alice excelled as a homemaker and mother for the next eighteen years while working from home as a transcriptionist for the University of Michigan. In 1985, Alice and John retired and then moved to Laurel Park in 1986. Alice was a Meals on Wheels and Friends of the Library volunteer. Alice always enjoyed connecting with family and friends. She loved crafting. She was an avid card player, belonging to several playing groups.
Alice is survived by her children, Steve and Bob, and her grandchildren, Eleanor, Justin, Jessica, and Melissa. Alice will be buried in a private ceremony at Shepard Memorial Park on Friday, April 30th.
