Rosie has always devoted her life to others and began working at the age of 9 to help support her family. She has worked many jobs and was a machine operator for 32 years at Kaukauna Cheese until her retirement at the age of 65. Rosie loved to travel, trips to the casino, playing bingo and enjoyed playing cards with her sisters in their Mickey Mouse club for over 50 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Hot Peppers group out of Crivitz and enjoyed her Tuesday luncheons with her friends. Above all, Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family and was devoted to her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, making sure she was always there for their sports and school activities.
In October of 2020, in true Rosie fashion, her family surprised her with a 90th birthday celebration themed of the "Roaring Twenties". This celebration of her life brought her to tears of appreciation many times throughout the day, which was priceless to all who were involved to spend that special day with her. At 90 years of age she never turned down the opportunity to spend time out with family and friends. Life never slowed her down. Many a time, people would comment on her energy and zest at life. Rosie's smiles, hoots and hollers and sweet dance moves, always made everyone in the room smile as she was truly one of a kind.
