Cherie Kyle Davis, 63, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 with her family.

Born June 10, 1957 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Leona Margo Mays Kyle and the late William Sylvester Kyle.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Miesha M. Davis.

She was a member of the Randolph Street United Methodist Church.

Cherie was a Air Force wife for 20 years who followed her husband through a successful military career.

She was a dental assistant at Hampton Roads Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for 22 years.

Surviving are her husband, Howard M. Davis; son, Howard M. Davis II; sister, Vanessa Kyle Oliver; brothers, William Robert Kyle and Lawrence Edward Kyle; five grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lexington with the Rev. Reginald Early officiating.
