Obituary
Deborah D. Hall died Tuesday April 20th at her residence in Union Point, Georgia at the age of 66. Debbie retired from The Department of Agriculture in 2017 as a meat inspector. She had also worked years before helping her dad and mom operate the Greshamville Mall, where on quite a few occasions, she and her dad would slip off to the lake where they both loved to fish. After retirement, she helped her boyfriend, Perry Pittman, process deer at his facility in Sharon, Georgia during deer season. Debbie loved to work in her yard and kept it immaculate until her health would no longer allow. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino (but tell no-one).
She was preceded in death by her dad Billy Morris, mother Doris Finch, step-mother who raised her as her own from 3 years old Rachel Lankford Morris, husband Leroy Dover, and daughter Wendy Elaine Harris.
She is survived by her boyfriend Perry Pittman of Sharon, Georgia and brother Bobby Morris (Brenda) of Madison, Ga, Aunt Pam Lucey of Atlanta, Georgia, nephew Robert Morris and his child Sheadon Andrews-Morris, and niece Bobbi Jean Singleton with her children Wyatt, Jackson, Huck and Sarah Singleton.
A special thanks to Ozella Strozier, Geraldine Lamar, and Perry Pittman for helping Debbie at home and the numerous trips for treatments over the past years.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m at Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point, Georgia. Good friend and Reverend Richard Fife will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a cancer charity of your choice. Callaway Funeral Home, 208 N. Rhodes Street., Union Point, GA, (706) 486-4138, is in charge of arrangements.
