Born in Peach Bottom, he was the son of the late Verney and Allie (Pennington) Blevins.
Bob was a carpenter all his life. He was a Korean War veteran and played minor league baseball. He loved going turkey hunting with his sons and friends of the family.
He formerly attended High View Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children: Karen K. Blevins, Quarryville; Robert M. Blevins (Diane), Pequea, Ricky G. Blevins (Mary), Quarryville, Lori A. (Blevins) Geib (Brian), New Providence, Jeffrey F. Blevins (Sheri), Willow Street; 11 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 4 step-great grandchildren, and two siblings: Elmer Blevins and Dale Blevins.
