WARD, Jeffery Allen, 42 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday April 27, 2021 surrounded by family at his home. He was a member of Dryden Road Pentecostal Church where he served as a board member and Youth Pastor for many years. Jeff was a project manager for Greater Dayton Construction Group for over 12 years. Jeff also known as Pappy, loved every minute with his granddaughters. Throughout his final fight with his illness, they were his light.
Knowing Jeff was understanding that he would do anything he could to make your life better. He loved sacrificing his time for others.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Holly of 23 years; children Whitney (John Matthew) Hackworth, Levi and Gavin Ward; 2 granddaughters Brynlee Faith and Preslee Gray; mother Wilma Ward Compton; sisters Debbie Ward, Teresa (Rev. Kenneth) Byrd, Faye (Ricky) Clifton; brother Johnny Rex (Lisa) Ward and also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Eldridge Rex Ward; stepfather Earl Compton; sister Maxine McGlothlin; brother in-law Dale Ward and several extended family members.
A Visitation will be held 6-8pm Thursday April 29, 2021 at Dryden Road Pentecostal Church 3201 Dryden Rd. Moraine, OH 45439. Funeral Service will begin 11am Friday April 30, 2021 at the church.
A Funeral Service will be held 3pm Sunday May 2, 2021 at Keen Mountain Pentecostal Church, 8456 Riverside Drive Oakwood, VA 24631. Burial to follow at Esau Rife Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go toward medical expenses.
