Freddie Rose Johnson Bryant was born March 4, 1928 in Lake Village, AR to the late Hughey C. Johnson, SR. and Estelle Cartwright Johnson. She departed this life at the age of 93 on Tuesday April 6, 2021 at Convent Community Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.

She confessed an hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. J.V. Haywood at Second Baptist Church where she remained a member until she was called home.

Mrs. Bryant graduated from Central High School in 1946.

She married the late Alfred D. Bryant, SR. on February 24, 1946 and to his union were (5) children.

She was a CNA in Saginaw, MI and Lake Village for many, many years until after retirement age.

She was a caregiver not only on the clock but for many she felt needed her assistance. She always cooked as if she was expecting to feed an army, and most times many would stop by to enjoy her soulful dishes. She was also a great tailor of men and women clothing and enjoyed making outfits for her children and nieces and nephews as well.

Freddie Rose was preceded in death by (1) son Alfred "Don" Bryant, JR. and (1) daughter, Rhonda June Bryant.

(3) Brothers, Frenchie "Doc" Johnson, Hughey C. Jonson, JR., and Charles E. "Chucky Baby" Johnson.

(5) Sisters, Herxia C. "Precious" Johnson Scott, Clara M. Johnson Scroggins, Maybelline B. Johnson Baker, June C. Johnson Womack, and Vickie L. Johnson Ross.

She leaves to cherish her memories (2) sons, Raynelle Bryant of Lake Village, AR, and Bruce D. Bryant of Little Rock, AR; and (1) daughter, Peggy A. Harvey.

(2) Grandchildren raised to this union, (1) grandson, Craig Bryant (Marilyn) of Lake Village, AR, and (1) granddaughter, Kimberly Bryant Perry of Columbia, TN.
