Ronald joined the Air Force in 1967 and served during the Vietnam War as an aircraft mechanic. He was released from active duty in 1971 as a Sergeant. Ronald again demonstrated his commitment to serve our country and our community alike by dedicating 26 years to the City of Tallahassee Fire Department.
Ronald leaves behind is loving wife, Kay Yates Strickland, and a host of other family members who will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.
