Mark Alan Dunn age 66 of Vail, AZ passed away Saturday March 7th, 2020 at Banner University Medical Center after a brief illness. Mark was born March 14, 1953 to Edgar and the late Betty (Puckett) Dunn in Urbana, IL.
He graduated high school from Canyon del Oro in Tucson, AZ in 1971 then obtained his Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Arizona. After graduating from the UofA, Mark moved to Arkansas, then to Nebraska, before returning to Arizona. Mark worked for Country Pride Foods and later for the parent company ConAgra for 22 years. He returned to Arizona working for IBM for the next 20 years. Mark spent his last four years before retiring in December of 2019 as an independent IT contractor. He enjoyed time at the family cabin in the White Mountains, helping work on a friend's farm in Colorado, and time spent with the grandkids.
Mark is survived by his wife of 30 years Barb Dunn; sons Daxx (Angela) of Franklin, TN; Corey (Erica) of Adona, AR; daughters Tonya (Bryant) Smith of Gilbert, AZ; Allyson (Justin) Griffin of Arkadelphia, AR. 5 grandchildren; Tanner Eltiste, Adalyn Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Josh Dunn, and Blakely Griffin. Siblings; Nancee (David) Lutz of Tucson, AZ; Karen (Bob) Fraser of Gautier, MS; and Paula Dunn (John Hoyt) of Tucson, AZ.
Visitation will be on Wednesday March 11 beginning at 2pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 3pm. Services will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary Tucson, AZ 85712.
