John is survived by his Wife of 66 years, Sarah (Bette) McGuire, his children, Timothy McGuire, Teri McGuire-Pach, Theodore McGuire, and sister Jeanne Knehr.
John was born in Newark NJ on July 26, 1932 to John J. McGuire and Winifred M. Boxall-McGuire. He graduated from Seaton Hall with a degree in Business Administration. He went on to run his own Insurance Agency before eventually retiring.
