June Ann Brown was born in April 17, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry August and Marie Estelle (Fox) Nordgren .June grew up in Calumet City, Illinois and graduated from Thornton Fractional North High School. She then continued her education and attended the Michael Reese Hospital
School of Nursing and achieved her Registered Nursing licenses.On August 21, 1976 she married the love of her life Gregory W. Brown in Calumet City. The couple made their first home in Chicago before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana then to Waco, Texas, then to Holstein, Nebraska, then to
Demming New Mexico then to Truth or Consequence, New Mexico before settling in Woodward, Oklahoma.
June worked as a RNC for many year in hospitals as well as nursing homes. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed getting to see her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her friends. June has always had a strong love for her faith. She enjoyed making jewelry,crafts, and egg
decorating. She was a member of the LWML.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Gregory W. Brown ;son, Reverend Eric Brown and wife Celia; brothers, Harry Nordgren and wife Elena, Robert Nordgren; sister,Jeri Konecki and husband Doug; grandchildren, Victor Brown and Ambrose Brown; and many nieces and nephews.
June is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth Nordgren; and sister,Jean Nordgren
