Marti grew up in Iona and attended Bonneville High School. After graduating from Skyline Continuation School, she attended Idaho State University and worked as a store clerk at Sinclair. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marti enjoyed camping, music, family reunions and most of all, spending time with her two granddaughters. Survivors beside her loving parents included: son Tory Mitchell (Elise) Nelson of Rexburg; brother Dane (Julie) Nelson of Idaho Falls; and granddaughters Lucy and Isla Nelson; preceded by grandparents D.C. and Marilyn Ririe Tyler and Harold and Ruth Nelson. Funeral services held Saturday, May 1st at the LDS chapel at 5169 Denning in Iona. Bishop Jason Cooper officiated.
