Mr. Carl Lewis Clark, age 96 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday April 27th, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Clark was born in Fannin County, Ga on October 5th, 1924 to the late William Emory Clark and Della Garland Clark. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Wendell Clark; grandson, Jason Pierce; son-in-laws, Eddie Pierce and Tommy Baxter; great-grandson, Jacob Searcy. Mr. Clark was a veteran, having served in the U.S Army. He was retired from Lenox Square and was a farmer for over 40 years. Mr. Clark was a member of Harvest Missionary Church.
Survivors include his wife, Earnesteen Reece Clark; two daughters, Carolyn Pierce and Marty Baxter both of Ellijay; one sister, Wylene Mullinax; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 29th at 2 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Arnold and Rev. Pat Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Cartecay United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include, Eddie Mullinax, Keith Holloway, David Holloway, Chris Holloway, Scott Garland, and Adam Deboard.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 28th from 4 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
