Ann Lawhon Stevens, born July 31, 1938, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. She graduated from Central High School in 1956 then married Curtis Wayne Stevens on August 13, 1960. Ann worked at First National Bank in Phillips County for 29 years and attended Second Baptist Church in West Helena where she also taught four and five-year-old Sunday school as well as vacation bible school for three generations.

Ann loved reading, cross-stitch, camping, gardening, and any activity that involved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Hazel L. (Foree) Lawhon; sister, Clarice (Lawhon) Walker; brother, David Lawhon.

She was survived by her husband, Wayne; sister, Judy K. Moore (Jim); brother in law, Lynn Walker; three daughters, Debra Dawn Stevens Duensing (Ted), Cheryl Ann Stevens Boone (Steve) and Lori June Stevens Ekenseair; five grandchildren, Amber Harrell (Seth) of Conway, Arkansas, Adam Ekenseair (Chelsea) of Waltham, Massachusetts, Katie Brummett (Rich) of Abingdon, Illinois, Curtis Ekenseair of Springdale, Arkansas and Sarah Moore (Mike) of Monmouth, Illinois; 12 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
