SCOTT JAMES REIFSNIDER, 52, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Parkview Hospital. He was born on Nov. 22, 1957, in Fort Wayne. He graduated in 1976 from New Haven High School and was a member of the NHHS varsity basketball and baseball teams. He was an avid sports fan, especially of IU, Bobby Knight, and the Komets. He worked in sales all his life. He is survived by his daughter, Lyndsay Racine (Anthony); son, Logan James Reifsnider; mother, Janice Reifsnider; brothers, Randal Reifsnider (Alla) and Brian Reifsnider (Janie); grandson, A. J. Racine; ex-wife, Cathy Reifsnider; two nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John M. Reifsnider. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in the chapel of New Haven United Methodist Church. No calling hour. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the A.J. Racine Education Fund at FPCCF Credit Union, 3306 N. Clinton, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Professional services have been conducted by Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton, Ind.
