Mr. Johnny Paul Kennedy was born on December 24,1929 in Tyrone,Tx. to Mr. Scott Kennedy and Mrs. Lucille Bennett. He was a lifelong resident of Smith County. He was a graduate of Emmett J Scott High School and a member of Greater St. Mary Baptist Church. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and was a detail Supervisor at Wagner Cadillac. He was a co-owner of Magnificent Auto Detail. He was preceded in death by stepfather, Lavon Bennett, and granddaughter Ashley Ervin. Survivors include his wife, Norma J. Kennedy, and Teresa ( Terry) Ervin , all of Tyler; stepmother, Mozell Kennedy, Detroit, Mich.; brother, Jimmy Kennedy, Tyler; sister, Rosetta Bailey, Detroit, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
