HONEA PATH - Ruby Ernestine Ashley Cason, 87 of 5789 Keowee Road, widow of Willie Cason died Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at National Health Care of Laurens. Born in Abbeville county, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva Moore Ashley. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was retired from Honea Path Shirtmakers. Surviving are one son, Donnie Darrell Cason and his wife Barbara of Fountain Inn; two granddaughters, Kimberly Ann Bright and her husband Mickey of Gaffney and Kelly Atkinson and her husband Darren of Conway. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Brad Bright and Savanna Atkinson. Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Webb and Rev. Roscoe Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Of Memories. Memorials may be made to Fountain Brook Church, PO Box 1236, Fountain Inn, SC 29644. The family will be at the home.
