Cheryl Lynn Williams, 67, of Pekin, passed away at 12:58 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist in Peoria.
Born August 1, 1953 in Pekin to Harold Dean and Gloria Lucille (Gorlo) Waldmeier, she married Verlyn L. "Butch" Williams on May 12, 1979 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Harold L. Williams of Pontiac; one step-daughter, Vanessa (Dale) Reynolds of Pekin; two step-sons, Richard (Williams) Griffin and Edwin Williams, both of Pekin; two grandchildren, Faith Williams and Misha Griffin; one great-grandson, Kayden Griffin and one brother, Michael D. Waldmeier, DMD, of Frankfort, Germany.

Her parents preceded her in death.

A homemaker, Cheryl had worked at the Boys and Girls Club in Pekin, where she was a receptionist for many years.

Cheryl was a life member of the Paul Towne AMVETS Post 169 Ladies Auxiliary in North Pekin and Pekin Women of the Moose Chapter 673. She also had served as a longtime election judge for Tazewell County.

She loved to crochet and make baby afghans. Cheryl was also a Chicago Cubs fan.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin, where she a member of the Women's guild and Fellowship Club.

Burial: Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
