Penny Lynn Krohn Brown, 42, of Nancy, Kentucky and formerly of Carrollton, Kentucky, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, in Somerset, Kentucky, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born on Oct. 13, 1977, in Louisville, to Melvin E. "Gene" Krohn and Lillian Ruth Smith Krohn of Carrollton. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She enjoyed making people laugh, singing and spending time with her grandson.
She is survived by her parents; two daughters, Savannah Hubbuch of Carrollton and Skilar Brown of Florence, Kentucky; a son, Damien Brown of Florence; four sisters, Tammie Polley of Florence, Tina Rosenbaum of Carrollton, Regina Miles of Campbellsburg, Kentucky and Michelle Sandlin of Hanover, Indiana; a grandson and her companion, Leonard Diamond, of Nancy.
She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Melvin Eugene Krohn Jr.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will take place in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral home occupancy limits, social distancing and face mask requirements will be followed.
