Newell Shealy Howard, 83, born March 24, 1938, to Jack Taft Howard and Janie Shealy Howard, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Mr. Howard served in the US Navy. He was a retired printer and coached little league baseball.
He is survived by his sons, Tony S. (Rebecca) Howard of Wagener, SC and Steven D. Howard of Leesville, SC; brothers, Jack (Kathleen) Howard of West Columbia, SC and Larry (Penny) Howard of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Heather Howard, Steven (Rebecca) Howard, Brittney (Ricky) Keisler; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Christopher T. Howard and brother, Jimmy (JoAnn) Howard.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 26, 2021, at St. David Lutheran Church, 132 St. Davids Church Road, West Columbia, SC.
