Paul was born Nov. 24, 1926 in LaCrosse, Arkansas to Oscar and Minnie Ryan.
He moved to Coloma in 1947 and spent the next 60 years on his family farm.
He enjoyed traveling and hunting in his free time and was a member of the NRA. Paul also spent allot of time fishing with his son Greg and had many fishing tales to tell about their time on Lake Okeechobee in Florida. Paul was a people person. He was a former coach with the Coloma Little League, a life member of the Horticultural Society of Michigan and a longtime member of the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Benton Harbor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Edith Brewer, Thelma Redding and Armilda Redding; and his brother Carl Ryan.
