Marjorie Joan Brown, 82, of South Point, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. The Alto Pass, Illinois native was born May 3rd, 1938, the daughter of the late Wayne and Bernice Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Brown, whom she married in 1979.

Joan was a graduate of Alto Pass High School and a former supervisor for a local company in Tucson, Arizona. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by:
a brother: Bill Taylor of Granite City, Illinois

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:
two brothers: Jack Taylor and Wayne Taylor
and two sisters: Barbara Taylor and Carol Taylor

Funeral Services will be 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street Ironton, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Melvin Cemetery on County Road 6. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
