A graveside service will be held for Lisa Sue Craig, 43, of North Bend, on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Bandon. A Celebration of Life will be held and announced later this summer once the weather is better and more can gather.
Lisa was born on September 6, 1977 in Crescent City, California to parents Dan Tison and Susan (Arceneaux) Tison. She passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 23, 2021. She had lived with scleroderma, a rare, incurable disease for the past 7 years.
Lisa graduated from Bandon High School. She later went to college in North Bend, graduating with honors. She became a teacher in 2008. She taught at Hillcrest Elementary School in North Bend for 10 years until she had to stop teaching due to her illness.
Lisa lived in Crescent City, California until the 6th grade and then moved to Oregon. She was loved by so many. Lisa loved life and sharing it with her daughter Emma. Her favorite quote is " Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day."
Lisa is survived by her parents, Dan and Sue Tison; daughter, Emma Violet Craig; brother, David Tison; one nephew and three nieces.
Arrangements are under the care of North Bend Chapel.
