He was born April 7, 1931, in Brownstown, IL, the son of William Curtis & Anna Etta (Weaver) Clymer. Married Arlene Marie Wodtke on September 8, 1962, in St. Peter, IL. He was the Owner/Operator of Clymer TV & Appliance, Vandalia, IL; US Army Korean Veteran; Member of Vandalia Lions Club; and Association of Lincoln Presenters - Lewis started presenting for the ALB, Lincoln association in his early 20's.
He is survived by: Daughter - Joy Clymer & Kevin Budny, Vandalia, IL; Grandchildren - Hope & Faith Budny-Clymer; Brothers - Richard Clymer and Carl Clymer & Sherry, all of Vandalia, IL; Several Nephews & Nieces; and Sister-in-Law - Betty Wodtke, Vandalia, IL.
