He was born in Cobb County, GA, on March 28, 1957, to the late Elmer and Mary Samples Turner.
Stephen owned his own deer processing business in Buchanan for several years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Lorkowski Turner; and two brothers, David Turner and Tony Turner.
Mr. Turner is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Marie Turner of Ellijay and Wes and Cherie Turner of Smyrna; one daughter, Journey Turner of Buchanan; and five grandchildren, Sabrina, Harlie, Eric, Austin, and Evan. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Garrett and Deborah Gurley both of Tallapoosa; two brothers Ralph Turner and Victor Turner both of Jasper; and his mother-in-law, Geraldine Lorkowski of Temple.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Stephen Turner will be cremated.
