Chris Williamson slipped suddenly and silently through the portals of eternity very early on Sunday morning, April 25, 2021. She would have turned 76 three days later. She had not been well for some time, although the immediate cause of death is considered to be natural causes.

She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a faithful companion and partner with her husband, John, who is a Nazarene minister and educator. She loved her family with all her heart and soul. Her home was her haven; everything had its purpose and place. She found great pleasure in "tweaking" the décor and details of home life. As a homemaker she delighted in preparing a meal that always looked and tasted the best. Following the current news and watching old-time TV western movies occupied a good portion of her daily routine.

Chris was born and raised in greater Hartford, Connecticut. She attended Eastern Nazarene College. She ventured to Kansas City to become part of the clerical staff of the Department of World Missions in the Church of the Nazarene in 1967. Marriage to John followed in June of 1968. Chris and John moved to Ohio where he was an educator and minister for 10 years; followed by ministry assignments in Arizona, Missouri, Colorado, Washington, and Kansas, retiring in 2010. They moved to Oklahoma in 2011 to be near their children and grandchildren.

Chris is survived by her husband, John, of almost 53 years; her daughters, Maylou Copeland (married to Lee) and Andrea Guy (married to Matt); six grandchildren, Tyler (married to Kensley), Bennett, Emilee, and Zach Copeland, Maylou and Caleb Guy. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Zwick of Hartford, TX.

Memorial services are pending.
