Steven "Steve" Lewis, 64, of Murrieta, California passed away peacefully after a courageous eight month battle with leukemia. Steve was born in 1956 in Lancaster, California to Ollie "Bill" and Nancy "Joyce" Lewis. He graduated from Valencia High School in 1974 within the city of Placentia, California. In 1980 he wed his high school sweetheart, Louise, to whom he was a kind, loving spouse of forty years. The couple would have three children, Danielle, Randy, and Benjamin, to whom Steve was an amazing father. Steve held a variety of positions in the service industry throughout his career; on his last job he accomplished twenty-five years of service for Costco Wholesale Warehouse. As a great lover of music, Steve was an avid concert goer throughout his life. He also enjoyed refinishing furniture, gardening, and finding treasures at garages sales in his spare time. Steve always had a smile on his face and had a knack for making friends anywhere he went. Steve is predeceased by his parents Ollie and Nancy Lewis. He leaves behind his wife Louise (Miller) Lewis;his daughter and family Danielle (Lewis) and Aristidis Georges; his sons Randy Lewis and Benjamin Lewis. He is also survived by his sister Marcia (Lewis) Morris and brother Gary Lewis. He also leaves behind his beloved grandson Alexios Georges, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by so many. Family will hold private memorial and graveside services. Arrangements handled by Murrieta Valley Funeral Home. Steve will be laid to rest at Laurel Cemetery.
