He was predeceased by : his parents, Archie Shook and Lucille Shook (Fishback); and his son Kyle Shook. He is survived by : his wife Norma "Louise" Shook; his children, Gary Shook (Paula), Carsen and Samantha; his step-son Mike Henne (Zenaida); his children, Reva, Michelle, Angela, Beverly, Cyndy, Michael Jr., Sandy Osborne (Ron), Matthew, Clayton, Joe Henne and Doug Henne (Linda); his grandchildren, Melanie, Jennifer, Doug Jr., Angela, Trevor and Becky Gates; and his son Jacob. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in his honor may be given to the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Harmony Center, 201 Lafayette Ave E, Mattoon, IL 61938.
