Cynthia Marie Nelson, 67, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Marrero, departed this life on Thursday December, 6, 2018 at West Jefferson Medical Center.
Visiting will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9am until the hour of service at 11am at New St. Mathews Baptist Church in Raceland. Burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Roland Bradley officiating.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Bernice White; husband, Wayne Birden; daughter, Phyllis Duncan; brothers, David and Robert Duncan, Leroy Nelson, Jr. (Debra) and Bardell Nelson; sisters, Betty Luckett, Diane Smith (Leonard), Ester Nelson and JoAnne Farve; A devoted friend, Martha Allen; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her father, Leroy Nelson; sister, Patricia Ann Nelson.
