Bobbie was a vivid and enthusiastic storyteller, and for those who knew and loved her, the story of her life will be remembered as a page-turner. She brought adventure to mundane everyday events; she met adversity with strength; and she was able to find laughter when all else failed. She worked as a school secretary for over 20 years, and she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, bowling, volleyball, bunco and camping.
Bobbie loved her family fiercely and she will be missed dearly. She is survived by two sisters and her brother; two sons and a daughter; grandchildren. She now rests with her beloved husband of over 60 years, Alan "Boyce" Shirk, and her son, Neal Shirk.
