Levi S. Crawford of Everett, formerly of the U. S. Marine Corps, died in a hospital at Martinsburg, W. Va., last Thursday night, August 11, from injuries received that day by being struck by a B. & O. freight train. He had been employed by that company as cook at a signal camp for about two months.
Deceased was 29 years old and unmarried. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Crawford, near Everett, and six brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. J. M. Karns of near Everett, Mrs. J. M. McFarland of Tatesville, Elmer of Uniontown, William of Everett, I. H. of Maryland and Ralph of Montana.
The body was taken to Everett where funeral services were held on Sunday, conducted by Rev. Steele of the Brethren Church. Interment in the Everett Cemetery.
