Joshua Brice Bearden was called home from this earthly life on April 11, 2021 after suffering a sudden illness.

A 2009 Graduate of Calhoun High School, Josh was a devoted Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and Calhoun Yellow Jackets fan. Josh had a love for sports. He started every day with one thing in mind to get ready to watch the game. That meant the pregame show and the postgame show. He wanted to take it all in and he knew pretty much every player's name and their stats. If the Braves weren't on T.V., he had to listen to it on the radio.

Everybody that knew Josh, knew he would bring a smile to everybody's face. He was so full of love and character that if you met him once, you would never forget him.
Josh was born with a disability that he couldn't walk. That didn't bother him. He was the happiest young man you would ever meet.
Josh loved the Lord and was a born again Christian. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA.

Born on August 28, 1991 in Gordon County in Calhoun, Georgia. Josh is the son of Brice Bearden of Dalton, Ga. and Sheri Bearden of Calhoun, Ga. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.B. and Grace Bearden and Wilmur and Sylvia Nixon.

Twenty nine years old at the time of his death, Josh is survived by his Dad and Mom, Aunts, Uncles, many Cousins, and hundreds of Friends.

A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Josh Bearden will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 17,2021 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth, Ga. Pastor Scott Parsons and Coach Clay Stephenson will be officiating.
