Charles Edward Pierce, 70, of Mocksville, NC passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of April 24, 2021 with his loving wife Linda, and his beloved sister, Jenny beside him.
Charles was born to James Louis and Mildred Creason Pierce on September 1, 1950 in Rowan, NC and was raised in Cooleemee, Davie, NC. He married Linda Moretz on July 2, 1982.
Mr. Pierce was a 6th grade science teacher and bus driver for Woodleaf Elementary School and West Rowan Middle School for over 35 years before his retirement.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; James Edward Pierce and Stephen Louis Pierce, a sister Doris G. Pierce Everhart and a stepdaughter Linda "Sissy" Wilson Reavis.
He is survived by his wife Linda J. Moretz Pierce, sister Jenny Pierce Moon (Ralph),
4 stepsons; Bobby Wilson (Mary), Tony Wilson (Dena), Dale Wilson (Emily), and Chris Wilson (Rachel), 12 grandkids, and 13 great grandkids.
Charles was cremated and his ashes will be buried here with his wife after her passing.
