Amy Lucille Rish Moore
Columbia, South Carolina - Amy Moore died peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021. She was born in Richland County, May 27, 1929, to the late George Wesley and Viola Spires Rish.
She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Moore, and a son, Frank Moore. She was also preceded in death by nine siblings: brothers, Ervin, Tommy, Louie and Herman Rish; sisters, Melba Sturkie, Rosa Lee Luther, Lois Crosby, Doris Davis, and Lettie Folk.
She is survived by son, Jack Moore (Beverly), daughter, Cissy Copeland, and grandchildren, Kimberly Luthren, Kelly DuBose, Lewis Stoertz, and great grandchildren, Jack Luthren and William Luthren, Wyatt DuBose and Sadie DuBose, and Graham Stoertz and Tucker Stoertz.
Amy worked many years in the legal profession in Columbia. After retiring, Amy owned and operated Barnwell Oaks Kennel in West Columbia and did volunteer work with the Lexington County Probate Office.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 23, 2021, at Springdale Baptist Church, 357 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A private burial for the family will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
