Carl "Tony" Stanley, 58, of Hattiesburg passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Merit Health Wesley. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Moore Hattiesburg Chapel with interment to follow at Dixie Community Cemetery. Mr. Stanley was an avid sports fan. He coached his daughters in softball and also coached softball at Oak Grove High School for a number of years. He loved cheering on the Saints. He was a hard worker. Tony loved the people he worked with and he made an impact in the lives of his family and friends. He would do anything to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Joyce Stanley; his brother, Scotty Stanley; his nephew, Kyle Stanley; and his grandparents, Frank and Carstill Smith. He is survived by his wife, Donna Stanley of Hattiesburg; his daughters, Kayla Johnson (J.R.) of Dixie and Heather Stanley of Hattiesburg; his grandson, Brayden Johnson; his brothers, Rusty Stanley of Hattiesburg and Joey Stanley of Hattiesburg; his aunt, Carolyn Smith of Dixie; his mother-in-law, Ineta Delancey of Lumberton; and a host of extended family that he loved dearly.
