Raybon - Christine Herrin Wilson, 94, of Raybon passed away Thursday morning (April 22, 2021) at her residence after an extended illness.

Born in Raybon, GA her parents were William "Coleman" Herrin and Gladys Aline Lewis Herrin. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Omie Wilson; 2 daughters, Patricia Ann Crews and Charlotte Omerlee Griffin; 2 grandsons, Bernard Willis and Kendall Willis; and a brother, William "Buddy" Herrin.

Christine was a homemaker and a member of Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church. She was known for her cooking and loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Christine also enjoyed gardening and quilting.

Survivors include her 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Nade & Debbie Wilson and Vance & Mary Jo Wilson all of Nahunta; 2 daughter and a son-in-law, Hattie & Robert Allen of Hoboken and Gloria Dale Wilson of Nahunta; dear son-in-law, Coleman Griffin; 9 grandchildren, Frances & Wade Chesser, Jackie & Byron Smith, Tony & Tracy Crews, Buck & Annette Crews, Jennifer & Jeffrey Riggins, Brent & Jessica Wilson, John Paul & Joni Jackson, Jordan & Blair Wilson and Tanner & Ashley Wilson; 21 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and also several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to COVID-19, we would like to ask all to please follow the rules for social distancing, also face mask are highly recommended at the service. Anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday (April 25, 2021) starting at 2pm at Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon (April 25, 2021) at 3pm at Twin Rivers Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Bryan and Rev. Leon Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Frances Chesser, Christopher Willis, Tony Crews, Jackie Smith, Buck Crews, Jennifer Riggins, Brent Wilson, John Paul Jackson, Jordan Wilson and Tanner Wilson.

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
