Patricia Burgh McDonald, age 80, of Harmony, PA, died on April 20, 2021, surrounded by family.
She had been pre-deceased by her son, James, as well as her father Charles F.M. Burgh, and mother, Marie Plesniak Burgh.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald; son Kevin; daughter Dana Strong; son-in-law Mark Strong, and grandchildren, Charles McDonald, Madison Strong and Wilson Strong. She is also survived by a large extended family including sisters Barbara Burgh, Marilyn Varner and Kathy Rigdon, and brothers Charles Burgh and John Burgh.
Patricia was a graduate of Zelienople High School and was the 1962 valedictorian of her graduating class at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a retired pharmacist and remarkable woman, admired for her kindness and keen intellect, and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2-6 PM at Boylan Funeral Home, Inc., 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, PA 16063.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Hwy., Harmony, PA 16037, with the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley and the Rev. Timothy Dawes, co-officiating.
Patricia will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.
