Mr. Adair was born in Columbia, SC to the late Thomas Cecil Adair, Sr. and Ethel Irene Derrick Adair. He served in the Air National Guard and retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 40 years of service as District Manager.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Elizabeth Ingra Adair of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and a sister, Celia Lane Adair of Taylors, SC. He was predeceased by a son, John Thomas Adair.
