William Price Waters, Jr., age 67, of Lilburn, Georgia, peacefully passed into the presence of His Savior on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, William Price Waters, Sr., and survived by his mother, Valeska Waters, age 103; also surviving "Billy" are his siblings, Miranda Douglass (David), Patricia Waters; his daughter, Meredith (Dan and Juliana); along with nephews, Timothy Douglass and family; Joel Douglass and family, Philip Douglass and family; and niece, Cherith Douglass. Billy loved his family and worked hard to honor them with his time, words of encouragement, and prayer.
Billy was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in the area. At the age of 19, he began a lifelong career at Georgia Power. He initially worked as a technician and worked his way up to the position of a Private Investigator, where he made many friends. Billy made an impression on all who knew him with his friendly, easy-going personality. He loved music, golf, riding his Harley, and a variety of other hobbies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
