Phyllis Delana (Taylor) Floyd, 75, of Stanford, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at her home. She was the widow of Ray Floyd who preceded her in death on June 4, 2017. Phyllis was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on March 9, 1946 to the late Homer and Allean (Dugger) Taylor. Phyllis had worked as a Nurse Aide for several years for both Fort Logan Hospital and the Stanford Nursing Home. After her nursing career she worked several more years for Trim Masters before retiring. She was a member of the Blue Lick Baptist Church and she enjoyed reading, mowing yards and especially loved working in her flower beds. Survivors Include Her Daughter, Tawanna & Husband, Scott Manz of Stanford Three Brothers: Denton, Eugene & David (Dana) Taylor Two Sisters: Vena (Clark) Long & Sarah (Frank) Floyd Three Grandchildren: Clinton (Hallie) Hall, Cierra (Justin) Ward & Brandon Denton Six Great Grandchildren: Jace, Preston Avery, Cullen, Tallon, Sully & Holly Kate In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her Daughter, Raevonna Hall Poynter and Two Sisters, Velma Messenger & Barbara Sue Young
